Before buying the Fury 5K, I tried competing binos form several other companies and the furry was better in several ways. 1) ranging accuracy, the fury did a better job of hitting the correct target where there were close and far objects near the line of site. 2) fit to my hand, these binos fit me great and were very comfortable. 3) clarity for me was better than other similarly priced bino/range finder combos. They are so clear and crisp I'm surprised they don't cost more.I took these on a norther Idaho elk hunt and left the spotting scope at home, they did a great job of ranging out past 3K yards. Very impressed and would recommend to just about anyone.

I sold my Bushnell Fusion 1 mile because I wasn’t happy with the clarity, it’s size & weight on my last sheep hunt. I needed a new binocular with laser range finder capabilities in a smaller package and better customer service. The new Vortex Fury 5000 Gen II fit the bill. Everything I needed packed into a quality brand of optics. Edge to edge clarity and low light visibility. Vortex customer service is top notch. Always answering my emails in a timely manner and it’s a third of the price of the euro glass! Besides the quality of the Fury Gen II, you can’t beat the Vortex lifetime-no-fault warranty! I highly recommend them!!!

A friend owns the Fury HD and they always worked well for him, so when I saw Vortex had upgraded the "engine" essentially for the same price I figured it was time to get a pair of my own.5000yds max ranging is great because in field use usually delivers about 2/3 to 75% of that depending on your target. Even with flat paint and mediocre conditions, I am getting consistent readouts for my steel targets.1600yds for deer (or non-reflective/absorbent targets) is longer than I would ever need when taking a shot at an animal.10x is useful magnification but still controllable without a tripod (although this is tripod adaptable). For the price, these binos offer more ranging power than I could need which is exactly what I wanted.

I was looking rangefinder/binoculars combo that I could use at my prs matches, tried a few but they didn’t suit my needs. Plus some of them didn’t range as fast would want them to. Finally decided to go with the fury 5000. It was perfect. It ranges fast enough, I didn’t have to deal with battery issues due to Bluetooth connectivity as required by the AB version l. It was just not needed because I already have a kestrel and it does great as it pertains to ballistic data goes. I’d highly recommend this rangefinder combo to anyone with similar needs.

Glass is clear and range finder works great. It is what it is and does what it should. Just this weekend I set it up on my tripod to spot for buddies shooting out to 800 yards. I was able to spot misses easily.

If you are looking at these I just wanted to say that I had a older version of them and never had an issue until I got them out recently for my brother and I to so some longer range shooting, they would not range the target, after I installed new battery with no luck I contacted Vortex and thought I may have done something to cause the problem. they told me to send them in and they would take a look at them so they sent me the paperwork shipping label and off they went. after they received them it was only 3 or 4 days later I had a new pair of the newest version delivered to my door. These are a lot of optic for the money and the VIP warranty is exactly what it means, none better on the market and they want their product in your hands for you to use not broken laying on a workbench waiting for breaktime to be over for someone to look at them. I have had stuff I lost replaced and then this was better than I expected, I have several of their upper level scopes that I am verry happy with and for my needs preform with same higher end scopes I own. but now I know the VIP warranty is as good as it gets and Iam verry happy with the new binoculars they sent me.
