I was looking for binoculars for archery hunting. I've always skimped out because I'm generally looking at less than 100 yards or less but at times up to 500. I've never been impressed with Vortex that friends have but couldn't justify Swarovski. I decided to go with Steiner after looking through an old pair of Predators a guy had at a 3D shoot. I'm thoroughly satisfied. Clear and crisp. Very fast focus. They are sturdy and have a very nice finish. My one disappointment is in the attachment of the objective lense caps. One already broke off. Not a deal breaker because I use a Marsupial Gear Bino pack but it would be nice to have the option for storage. I'm waiting to see how well the harness attachment clips hold up being that they're very similar design.

The snap lock system for attaching a strap or harness is easy to use. The included neck strap is nice but I prefer a harness. The glass is clear to the edges and crisp. I have used them scouting and whether in bright sun or dark woods, they are great. Images "pop". I wear glasses and they accommodate that very well. Good weight/balance. Adjustment wheel is precise.Excellent value. I don't regret my decision to purchase them instead of a more expensive model or brand. I can't honestly discern a difference.

Owned several brands of binoculars over the years , these are absolutely the best .. rugged clear and waterproof .. the optics are excellent.. the only issue I have is that I wish they had a way to mount them to a tripod

I caught this pair of binoculars on sale at $360 and was blown away by the clarity, quality and functionality. I went back to get another pair and they are marked back up to $400. My wife just began deer hunting with me and she was using a pair of Simmons 10 X 50 and was always frustrated because she didn't understand how I could recognize a 6 month nubbing buck versus whitetail doe. Now that she has these binoculars, she loves hunting. She can now recognize the hair parts on a doe head versus antler buttons on a 6 month male. She also gets up close to birds and many beautiful nature events. I highly recommend this pair.

I have multiple pairs of binoculars but the clarity and ability to gather light are not that great with them. A friend recommended that I get a pair of Steiner Predator binoculars. I received these and had high expectations as I was getting them out of the box. Once I picked them up I could tell they were very well built but when I looked through the optics I was blown away! These are by far the best binoculars I have ever looked through. The binos come with a nice carrying case, shoulder strap and lens protectors. These units also have the fit around the eye glare guards. All I can say is that if you are looking for a remarkable pair of binoculars, buy the Steiner Predator binoculars. You will not be disappointed. I paid for these with my own money, I did not receive any promotion or get anything from giving a review, just a regular guy with a great pair of binoculars.
