They allow a secure, protected switch installation on the weapon fore end that will not snag, bump or rip off. No more duct tape, velcro or inner tubes to melt or fail, often at crucial times. Rail Grip also offer superior impact and heat resistance, and may be placed anywhere on the Mil-Standard rail fore end (depending on rail length).
